This has all been massively blown out of proportion. There is a huge difference between actually having a spinal injury, and just not being able to rule it out. The newspaper claims the casualty was paralysed, yet he was discharged from hospital that same evening having suffered no injury at all.

NWCRO's attendance was not needed, neither was the mountain rescue team that arrived really, as the staff and equipment needed to carry out the extrication were already there.

It's just another case of local newspapers with nothing better to do. How many suspected spinal injuries do kids suffer playing rugby etc. and no one bats an eyelid!

When you also consider that over 12,000 people have visited the attraction in it's first month, sending one person to hospital isn't bad going.

But I guess a front page spread picture can only be good publicity!
oh, what fresh hell is this?
