anyone had or seen one of the oversuits that they sell in caving supplies in buxton?

going to go and get one, but they dont sell beavers there, so i either have to drive for an hour and half to ingleton for a beaver or 25mins to buxton for the ones they sell.

they are more expensive than the beavers, but what i'll save in petrol will cover that

any info help advice?

I would go to Ingleton to be honest.

Bernies cafe for Beaver and next door you have Inglesport for the Warmbacs.

I used to have a Beaver, but now i use a Warmbac. Much better than the Beaver in my opinion.

the only thing with the Warmbacs is they are 2 different colours, which means they have more seams, pluss they look like a rental when you're in the dales.

have you seen the suits from caving supplies?

I would definately go to Ingleton where you have two competing shops right next to each other. I found Bernies were polite, helpful and obliging, whereas Inglesports were abrasive, discoureous and blatantly profiteering.

Can I also suggest that you post when you do the shopping trip as other may like to join you and help cover the fuel cost? Also, why not make a whole day of it and invite Joel to come along and take you down some Yorkshire glory holes?

For me the warmback is the best suit, I have worn out several other kinds including a made to measure one, warmbacks are brilliant.
I got my current one from Inlesport and they were prepared to haggle over the price, I got a tenner off.
:woohoo:
