Howdy Peeps,

We are in need of help / ideas / support / Volunteers ...

We need something lined up for Thursday the 15th April please and I am "beginning" to feel guilty putting tacit pressure on to Les

Only beginning?

I *might* have some pictures I could pull together about "caving" in Naples...

I doubt I have the time to make it slick and proffesional though...

I "might" send out a circular to that effect then

Naples is fairly close to Vesuvius .... nudge, nudge, wink, wink ...

And solfatara, which is a far more serious volcano.
My talk will be titled "Napoli Underground(and above, and some volcanoes)" or something similar.
I mean, we went to Naples, how could we do that and not visit the volcanoes...

Totally awesome ... you removed the word "might" from your talk ... I will send out the invites accordingly.

Thank you B)

Would it be possible to have a proper meet-up? COVID restrictions are being relaxed from the 12th of April in England and Wales and it will be permissible to enter Wales from England. I will be available for Thursday the 15th and the 22nd. Better make the most of it before Drakeford and Johnson locks us down again (by the way I've had my first dose of the Astra-Zeneca vaccine). I suggest a nice roomy mine or cave and also limit numbers, perhaps having two trips if there are a lot of people. I understand outdoor hospitality will not reopen in Wales until the 26th. After that my next available date will be 20th of May.
Can still do the Zoom meeting though.

I have to confess that I do not understand what rules apply.

Can someone/anyone "link" the permissible activities please ...

My current understanding is that we can meet "outdoors" but we have to stay 2 metres apart. I can't find anything that suggests we can go caving :S
