Hi Folks,
This week we shall be taking an intrepid exploration to the wonderful mine of Garreg Boeth in Hendre, Flintshire. This is the old lead mine that lay hidden for more than 100 years until our illustrious president dug back into it.
It is muddy at the entrance and, later, becomes wet to a depth of around 3 feet.
There are some very pretty floor formations to see (please watch your step as you travel).
Waders are a good idea (or a towel for afterwards).
This trip is suitable for novice cavers and also visitors (please let me know of any visitors beforehand)
Location : Hendre, Flintshire
